Manufacturing Machine Operator – Lathe/CNC – Night Shift

Pay: $19.00–$23.00
Shift Differential: 8% after training
Schedule: 5PM - 5:30AM
Overtime: 12-hour shifts, 5 to 6 days a week
Location: Houston, TX 77073

Summary

We are seeking Manufacturing Machine Operators "Stators" with hands-on experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will have experience operating manual lathes, CNC lathes, or other production machinery , along with a basic mechanical background.

This position supports the manufacturing of industrial components and requires candidates who are comfortable working around heavy equipment, using hand and power tools, and working extended shifts. Intermediate-level candidates will be considered and do not need to be advanced CNC programmers or machinists.

Some openings will support the cutback area , where previous manual lathe or CNC lathe experience is particularly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual lathes, CNC lathes, and/or other production machinery based on experience and assigned area
• Perform machining and cutback operations on manufactured components
• Load, position, and remove parts from machinery
• Monitor equipment during operation and identify basic operating issues
• Use hand and power tools to perform production and mechanical tasks
• Assist with mechanical assembly, disassembly, and component preparation
• Operate or assist with overhead cranes to move and position materials and components
• Inspect completed work for quality and conformance to specifications
• Follow work instructions, production procedures, and safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Perform additional production and manufacturing duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
• Manual lathe experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge or experience operating a CNC lathe
• Intermediate machining or machine operation experience will be considered
• Overhead crane experience preferred
• Basic mechanical knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to safely work around industrial machinery and heavy components
• Ability to perform physical work throughout a 12-hour shift
• Must be comfortable working 12-hour night shifts, 5–6 days per week, with significant overtime
• Reliable attendance and transportation
• Strong attention to safety and quality

Ideal Experience

Candidates with backgrounds as a Manual Lathe Operator, CNC Lathe Operator, Machine Operator, Manufacturing Technician, Production Technician, CNC Operator, Mechanical Assembler, Shop Technician, or Industrial Manufacturing Technician are encouraged to apply.

Previous stator experience is not required. Candidates with solid manufacturing experience and hands-on manual lathe, CNC lathe, machine operation, crane, or mechanical experience will be considered.
