Fire Sprinkler System TraineeThis entry level position is considered a trainee who is learning the mechanics of fire sprinkler system. This position will assist with installing Sprinkler Systems & the performance of routine testing under direct supervision. This position installs and tests sprinkler systems under the close guidance of a Foreman. Position receives guidance and direction regarding day-to-day work tasks from a Foreman.Requirements:Be available to support techniciansMust have the ability to learn to read a set of Sprinkler Design prints and install accordinglyExcellent communication skills requiredCut, thread, groove, join, and secure piping using proper tools and techniques.Must be able to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.After-hours overtime and weekend work as needed based on customer demandsValid Driver's licenseSuccessful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
